Northstar teams with Memorial Univ and NRC

Northstar Technical Inc has signed an agreement with Memorial Univ and the National Research Council’s Institute for Ocean Technology to provide sonar technologies for C-SCOUT, an experimental, autonomous underwater vehicle. The vehicle is part the Aquacomm Program, which Northstar has supported to the tune of $1.4 million. In return for its sonar technology, the St John’s NF-based firm will receive test data to use for its sonar development program.
