Nobina Robinson has been appointed president of Polytechnics Canada effective May 1st, replacing Sharon Maloney. Robinson will represent eight of Canada's largest colleges and technology institutes from Ottawa, advocating a role between Canada's two traditional post-secondary education paths. She holds a BA from Amherst College, a BA and MA from Oxford Univ and post-graduate work at Yale Univ. Prior to joining Polytechnics Canada, Robinson spent four years in Ottawa representing Seneca College and its federal interests. She has also worked for Treasury Board Secretariat, Foreign Affairs and International Trade and was executive director of Canadian Foundation for the Americas….
