New network and security forum established

A new forum for network and information security has been formed, comprised of representatives from industry, academia and government. The Forum for Information Security Innovation in Canada (FISIC) was unveiled at the annual conference of the Mathematics of Information Technology and Complex Systems (MITACS) last week. In addition to MITACS, its founding members are the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance, Bell Security Solutions Inc, Carleton Univ and Communications and Information Technology Ontario.
