Microcell conducts wireless trial with Ernst & Young

Microcell Connexions has teamed with Ernst & Young for an infrastructure trial

of its technology that allow firms to incorporate its wireless equipment into existing IP-based local area networks. Dubbed Wireless Office, the system link user's wireless handsets to in-house systems and global networks using the global system for mobile communications (GSM) protocol. The subsidiary of Microcell Telecommunications Inc was awarded a license in 1995 by Industry Canada to operate a national PCS network at 1.9 GHz. It is one of four nationally licenced PCS companies in Canada....
