MDS Sciex and PerkinElmer to collaborate

MDS Sciex, Concord ON, has teamed with PerkinElmer Inc, Wellesley, MA, to develop new time-of-flight-based mass spectrometry (MS) systems for proteomics, high throughput screening and drug development. MDS Sciex will contribute its MS technology while PerkinElmer brings its expertise in proteomics, front-end chroma tography, sample preparation technology, reagents and software.
