Marie-Lucie Morin

Marie-Lucie Morin has been appointed DM international trade after a three-year stint as associate DM foreign affairs. She replaces Robert Fonberg, who moves to Treasury Board as senior associate secretary. Morin is a veteran of the diplomatic corps, holding positions in London, Jakarta and San Francisco before becoming ambassador to Norway and the Republic of Ireland (1997-2001). She then moved to Ottawa to take DG and assistant DM positions in the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Morin holds a licentiate of letters from Sherbrooke Univ.
