Killam Research Fellowships announced

The results of the 38th annual Killam Research Fellowships have been announced. Fourteen scientists have been awarded $1.47 million in funding, including seven who are first-time winners. They are: Bernard Crespi, Simon Fraser Univ (biological sciences), Axel Becke, Queen’s Univ (chemistry), Clifford Burgess, McGill Univ, McMaster Univ and Perimeter Institute (physics), Kenneth Dean, McGill Univ (East Asian studies), Carole Gerson, Simon Fraser Univ (English literature), Denis Bouchard, Univ of Quebec at Montreal (linguistics) and Virginia Brown, Univ of Toronto (medieval studies).
