IRCM scores big in latest CIHR competition

The Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM) has achieved a 50% success rate in the latest operating grants competition of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). The success average of the overall competition was 17.5%. Eight researchers received $6.5 million in funding for projects ranging from anti-tumor immunity and neuronal circuit development to ribonucleoprotein biochemistry. Dr André Veillette won two grants worth $1.7 million....
