Innovative new engineering firm locates in Waterloo

The City of Waterloo has attracted GABAE Development to establish operations in its jurisdiction. The novel company headed by Dr Evan Koslow has spent more than $6 million hiring staff and building lab facilities to embark on a technology, product and process development program based on its large patent portfolio. Patents cover areas such as carbon block technology, agricultural chemicals, chromatography, chemical and biological technology, water and air filtration and absorption technologies. GABAE has partnerships with multinational companies and venture capital firms and plans to collaborate with area universities and colleges. The Canadian consulate in Dallas TX was instrumental in convincing Koslow to locate in Waterloo….
