The three granting councils have issued a call for nominations to populate the Panel on Research Ethics. The10-member Panel is a key component of the new governance structure for the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans. The two-year appointments (with an option for extension) to the Panel will involve at least two meetings annually and regular consultation through the Panel’s secretariat. Statement of interest must be sent to the offices of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, c/o Benoit Morin, by June 11. FMI: http://www.nserc. ca/programs/ethics/english/index.htm....
