Futuretek-Bathurst receives $875,000 in TPC assistance

Futuretek-Bathurst Tool Inc, Oakville ON, has received $857,000 from Technology Partnership Canada (TPC) to develop an integrated manufacturing system for the aerospace industry. The assistance was provided through TPC’s dedicated Aerospace and Defence Supplier Development Initiative, which is designed to make smaller Canadian firms in the aerospace globally competitive. The R&D project involves the application of intelligent systems technology manufacturing systems for rapid prototyping and engineering services. The assistance will aid Futuretek-Bathurst in its objective of becoming a full support services firm for the aerospace sector....
