Fed's $15-million investment in IQC reannounced

Industry Canada has re-announced Budget 2014's commitment to invest an additional $15 million over three years in the Univ of Waterloo's Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC), boosting federal investment in the institute to $89 million. The new funds will support IQC's strategic plan to engage in the research and commercialization of quantum technologies. In addition to research, the funding will support outreach, the attraction of skilled talent and the translation of new knowledge into market-ready, quantum-based technologies....
