Federal government invests in cyber security strategy

The federal government is investing an additional $155 million over five years in Canada's Cyber Security Strategy to secure government systems that deliver services to Canadians and protect citizen from cyber threats. The funding is part of the strategy's ongoing implementation, following an initial $90 million investment and an $18-million top-up in October/09. Some of the new money will go towards enhancing capacity at the Canadian Cyber Incident Response Centre at Public Safety Canada….
