Feasibility study launched for mobile content industry

The Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD) has receive $87,500 in seed funding to conduct a feasibility study for a proposed Mobile Experience Innovation Centre (MEIC). The MEIC is an R&D collaboration between academic research institutions and large and small companies to analyze and begin gathering capacity for research, commercialization and strategic foresight for Ontario's mobile content industry. The funding was provided by the Ontario Media Development Corp which received $7.5 million over three years to establish an Entertainment and Creative Cluster Partnerships Fund....
