DRDC enters R&D contract with Definiens Imaging

Defence R&D Canada (DRDC) has signed an R&D contract with Definiens Imaging, Munich Germany, to design and prototype processing techniques for automated target recognition from aerial photographs. DRDC will use the results from the project to determine whether the software is suited for future products for its clients, chiefly National Defence.
