Dr Vivek Goel

Dr Vivek Goel has been appointed Univ of Toronto VP research and innovation, for a five-year term, effective February 1, 2015. The appointment marks Goel's return to the university after a six-year absence. In 2008, he was appointed founding president and CEO of Public Health Ontario. More recently, he was chief academic strategist with Coursera, a global education platform that partners with universities and organizations worldwide to offer online courses for free. Goels holds an MBA from the Univ of Connecticut School of Business and Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Uni, Delhi India....
