Dr Robert Haché

Dr Robert Haché has been appointed VP research and innovation at York Univ, replacing Dr Stan Shapson. Haché is currently associate VP at the Univ of Calgary and will take up his new responsibilities July 1st. At the U of C, he also held appointments in the faculty of medicine's department of cell biology and anatomy and in the faculty of science's department of biological sciences where he maintained an active research program. Prior to U of C, Haché spent 18 years at the Univ of Ottawa, the last 12 years in leadership positions including vice dean of research in its faculty of medicine. He holds a BSc in biochemistry from McGill Univ and a PhD in biochemistry from Queen's Univ. Haché is the author of more than 130 articles and abstracts and the recipient of grants and awards from many Canadian and international research agencies….
