Ottawa professor Dr Nicholas Georganas has been selected as the recipient of three prestigious prizes for his contributions to the field of telecommunications. Georganas is director of the U of O's Multimedia Communications Research Lab and a project leader with the Telelearning Network of Centres of Excellence. He was also a key player in the recent formation of the National Capital Institute of Telecommunications (R$, June 9/00).
