Dr Richard Isnor has been appointed to the newly created position of director, innovation, policy and science with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). Isnor joins IDRC after three years at the National Research Council where he was director of bio-technology horizontal initiatives and interdepartmental relations. At IDRC, he is responsible for establishing new mechanisms and incentives to link international researchers to Canadian funding sources, working closely with the Global Health Research Initiative....
