Dr Randy Goebel

Dr Randy Goebel has been appointed president and CEO of Alberta’s Information Circle of Research Excellence (iCORE), replacing founding president Dr Brian Unger. Goebel is a professor at the Univ of Alberta and chair of its department of computing science. MIV Therapeutics Inc has appointed Dr Dean-Mo Liu as chief scientist, drug delivery technologies. Liu comes to MIV from the Univ of British Columbia where he helped develop an original patent for hydroxyapatite coating technologies to which MIV holds exclusive rights.
