Dr Rafik Loutfy

Dr Rafik Loutfy has been appointed chair of the board of directors for the Canadian Light Source (CLS) synchrotron, effective June 24th. Loutfy — who succeeds Dr Arthur Carty — is director of the Xerox Centre for Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation and has more than 30 years experience with the Xerox Corp including VP of the Xerox Research Centre of Canada. He holds an MBA from the Univ of Toronto and a PhD from the Univ of Western Ontario. Loutfy joined the CLS board in 2006 and was previously vice chair….
