Dr Nancy Van Wagoner

Dr Nancy Van Wagoner has been appointed associate VP research at Thompson Rivers Univ (TRU), Kamloops BC. Van Wagoner moves to TRU from Acadia Univ, where she was director of continuing and distance education. She holds a BSc in geology from California State Univ and a PhD in geology from Dalhousie Univ. TRU was created in April/05 through the merger of University College of the Cariboo (formerly Cariboo College) and British Columbia Open University. It has 26,000 students, including 16,000 who are distance education students....
