Dr Michelle Gauthier

Dr Michelle Gauthier has been appointed director of the research and policy analysis division of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC). She replaces Robert Davidson, who left the association last fall to join SGI Canada as its director of market development and post-secondary education (R$, October 2/00). Gauthier comes to the AUCC from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she worked as a principal consultant. She has also served as president of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario and has lectured at McGill Univ, Carleton Univ and the Univ of Ottawa. Gauthier holds a BA in communications and English literature from the U of O, an MA in communications from Carleton Univ and a PhD in communications from McGill Univ....
