Dr Jeremy Squire has been appointed to the Research Chair in Molecular Pathology, the first research chair at Kingston General Hospital (KGH). Squire comes to KGH from the Princess Margaret Hospital and the University Health Network where he held senior positions for his specialization as a cytogeneticist to discover genetic abnormalities linked to cancer. Squire will also foster interdisciplinary collaborations and serve as director of translational laboratory research with the National Cancer Institute of Canada's Clinical Trials Group based at Queen's Univ. The chair is partially funded by a KGH Foundation endowment….
