Dr Jean Luc Bérubé

Dr Jean Luc Bérubé has been appointed interim president of the Communications Research Centre (CRC), replacing Dr Veena Rawat who stepped down on February 15th. Bérubé joined the CRC in 2009 as VP of broadband network technologies. Prior to that he was senior manager of field engineering at Altera Corp and has over 20 years of experience in the Canadian electronics industry with firms such as Canadian Marconi Co, Nortel Networks Corp and Motorola. Bérubé has been successful in building teams, product development and management of complex telecommunications R&D projects. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Univ of New Brunswick and a MSc in Electrical Engineering from Univ of Montreal….
