Dr Inge Russell

Dr Inge Russell has been appointed to the governing council of the National Research Council for a three-year term. Russell brings to the NRC a background in business and regional economies, having worked at John Labatt Co from 1976 until 2001 when she took early retirement. She is an adjunct professor at the Univ of Western Ontario (UWO) in the chemical and biochemical engineering department. Russell obtained Canada’s first patent for genetically manipulated yeast designed for fuel ethanol production. She holds a BSc from UWO, and a MSc, PhD and DSc from Scotland’s Univ of Strathclyde....
