Dr Gabe Kalmar

Dr Gabe Kalmar has been appointed Genome British Columbia’s executive director operations. Kalmar has a long track record of private sector experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently as a consultant working with several early-stage companies in the areas of technology development, merger and acquisition planning and operations. From 1996 to 2002, he held senior positions at Kinetek Pharmaceuticals Inc before the firm was acquired by QLT Inc earlier this year.
