Dr Dennis Fitzpatrick

Dr Dennis Fitzpatrick has been appointed VP research at the Univ of Regina effective July 1st. Fitzpatrick recently completed a five-year term as VP research at the Univ of Lethbridge, following a five-year stint as the associate VP research. While at the U of L, he was responsible for expanding its research activities beyond grant management to strategic planning and team building, securing funding for an industry partnership with the Alberta Terrestrial Imaging Corp and the Alberta Ingenuity Centre for Water Research. Fitzpatrick holds a PhD in nutritional biochemistry from Rutgers Univ, an MSc in nutritional sciences and BSc in biological sciences from the Univ of Guelph and a BA in liberal arts from Queen's Univ….
