Dr Colin Jones has been appointed president and CEO of Advanced Applied Physics Solutions (AAPS), the commercialization arm of TRIUMF. Jones is a researcher with extensive management and board-level experience and currently a professor emeritus at Simon Fraser Univ. He has served on the TRIUMF board of management (1989-2006) and as its chair (1995-2000). Jones obtained a PhD in radiochemistry from the Univ of Manchester. He replaces John Scott. AAPS is funded under the Networks of Centres of Excellence's Centres of Excellence for Commercialization and Research….
