Dr Bruce Archibald has left his position as ADM of Ontario's Ministry of Energy, Science and Technology (MEST) to assume a similar position with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). Archibald becomes ADM of OMAFRA's policy and farm financing division. Prior to joining MEST, he was with OMAFRA as director of its horticultural institute and also oversaw the transfer of the ministry's research operations to the Univ of Guelph. Archibald is being replaced at MEST in an acting capacity by Dr Chris Riddle, the ministry's director of research, technology and innovation. Plans are underway to begin searching for a permanent replacement....
