Dr Anthony De Vuono

Dr Anthony De Vuono has been appointed senior VP and chief technology officer of Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd (AECL), effective August 4th. As one of three VPs in the CANDU reactor division, De Vuono will be responsible for developing AECL's technology with a focus on competitive costing, safety and licensing requirements. He holds a BSc in mechanical engineering and a MSc and PhD in nuclear engineering from Ohio State Univ. His most recent position before joining AECL was as VP and CTO of Modine Manufacturing, a developer of thermal management products in Racine WI. De Vuono has also taught nuclear engineering-related subjects at Ohio State Univ and Univ of Illinois….
