DALSA receives TPC funds for digital image technology

DALSA Corp has received $1.7 million from Technology Partnerships Canada (TPC) to develop technology for the digital replacement of 35mm motion picture cameras and high-speed digital film scanner technology. The investment will enable the Waterloo ON-based firm to advance its sensor technology as it applies to digital acquisition, storage, compression, encryption and transmission. TPC funding is also intended to strengthen the nascent technology cluster in Southern Ontario for digital motion picture imaging....
