CSA and ESA renew longstanding partnership

The Canadian Space Agency and the European Space Agency have extended their formal partnership for another 10 years. The partnership agreement outlines areas of scientific and industrial collaboration including earth observation, satellite communications, navigation and space exploration. The CSA and ESA signed their first agreement in 1979 spurring collaboration in scientific research and development of advanced technologies. The ESA has 18 member states and the agreement gives Canada entry to expertise and markets it would not otherwise access….
