Changes on R$ Editorial Team - Welcome Sebastian and Jessica!

All of us at Research Money are delighted to welcome Sebastian Leck, an experienced writer and editor based in Toronto, as Research Money’s new managing editor. Sebastian has written for The Walrus, Toronto Life, Broadview, CBC News, the National Post, VICE Canada, the Hamilton Spectator and others. A keen advocate for accurate reporting, Sebastian recently wrote a series on COVID-19 misinformation for The Walrus’s fact-checking website. His editing experience includes working as a digital editor at the Globe and Mail. We’re excited to be working with Sebastian on our digital pivot that has accelerated since the onset of the pandemic. Former managing editor, Mark Mann, is staying on as senior correspondent.

I’m also pleased to welcome Toronto journalist Jessica Galang to Research Money’s editorial team. Jessica Galang has been reporting on the Canadian innovation economy since 2015, interviewing hundreds of innovation leaders on emerging technology and science. In the past, she's acted as news editor at BetaKit and a reporter at The Logic, covering entrepreneurship, government policy and technology's increased role in the Canadian economy. Based in Toronto, Jessica has acted as a moderator at Canadian conferences like SaaS North and the BC Tech Summit.
