CFI awards $14.6 million to support 77 projects

The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) has announced $14.6 million in awards under its New Opportunities Fund (NOF) and University Research Development Fund (URDF). Under the NOF, $12.2 million is being invested in 68 projects at 23 universities, providing advanced equipment and installations for 92 new researchers. Investments totalling $2.4 million are being made under the URDF, which is designed to build research capacity at smaller universities.
