Canada Mining Innovation Council announces new chair of its board of directors

The Canada Mining Innovation Council (CMIC) board of directors has named Gordon Bogden its new chair of the board. Bogden is currently the chairman of mining investment company Black Loon Group, and previously was the president and CEO of Alloycorp Mining Inc. He has served as Vice Chairman Metals and Mining with Standard Chartered Bank and National Bank Financial, and as a senior mining investment banker with Gryphon Partners, NM Rothschilds & Sons Canada, and CIBC Wood Gundy. Bogden succeeds Jean Robitaille, chair since 2017.
