Canada leads pack in poor showing of government movement to Internet

Canada is leading the world in conducting eGovernment transactions, according to a new global study of 20 nations by Andersen Consulting. Transactions are considered the most advanced phase of governments' evolution to the Internet, preceded by publishing and interacting. The study found that most countries are conducting relatively little business digitally, whether that business is government-to-citizen, government-to business or intra-government.
