BC premier pushes green tech, life sciences in India

British Columbia premier Gordon Campbell has just completed a provincial trade mission to India where he is promoting the province's expertise in life sciences and environmental technologies. The mission will highlight BC's R&D and education connections in the areas of life sciences and biotechnology in meetings with government, post-secondary and industry representatives. Campbell last visited India in 2003. The mission is part of the province's Asia Pacific Initiative — released April 2007 — that establishes a long-term strategy for strengthening economic and cultural links to Asia-Pacific nations….
