Soft Materials Lab slated for Simon Fraser Univ

Simon Fraser Univ is enhancing its 4D LABS facility with the creation of a Centre for Soft Materials to allow applications-driven research for the design, development, demonstration and delivery of advanced functional materials and nanoscale devices aimed at soft materials. The $8.6-million facility is being funded by Western Economic Diversification ($4.3 million), Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation ($1.9 million) and SFU ($2.4 million). The centre will be open to researchers from many sectors including fuel cells, lighting, information technology, medicine, measurement and controls, electronics, clean energy and security....
