Science academies issue climate change warning

The Royal Society of Canada joined science academies from other G-8 nations and the three largest developing countries in issuing a warning on climate change and the need for increasing S&T to assist African development. The joint statement asserted that “a lack of scientific certainty about some aspects of climate change is not a reason for delaying immediate response that will ... prevent dangerous anthropo
