NSERC and France's ANR plan increased collaboration

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) has signed an MOU with France's Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) to increase collaborative activity and fund joint research projects in priority areas. The MOU builds on existing collaboration between the two countries' researchers and will focus on projects in biomedical technologies, manufacturing, healthy environment and ecosystems and advanced communication technologies and management of information. Projects must include a Canadian industrial partner. NSERC researchers can apply through the Strategic Project Grants program. Results of the first competition will be announced this fall....
