Dr Trevor Hawkins has been appointed to the newly created position of chief science and technology officer at MDS Inc. Hawkins joins MDS during a period of transition in the executive suite (see below). He was previously president of the molecular diagnostics business unit at GE Healthcare and senior VP development and new business initiatives at Amersham Biosciences. Hawkins holds a BSc and a PhD in biochemistry from the Univ of Sussex….
