Dalhousie creates new incubator/accelerator space

Dalhousie Univ is creating an advanced engineering incubator and accelerator with a $10-million donation from Emera, a Halifax-based energy and services company. The IdeaHub will be part of a $64-million Idea Project situated in downtown Halifax, with $32 million from the federal government matched by corporate and institutional contributions. IdeaHub was established in response to recommendations in the OneNS Commission report calling for an increase in new start-ups, greater youth employment, a doubling of industry-university R&D partnerships and more venture capital investment....
