CRC program announces new and renewed chairholders

The latest Canada Research Chairs competition results provide $125.9 million to 142 new and renewed chairholders. Institutions in Ontario accounted for $50.3 million with nearly half going to chairholders at the Univ of Toronto. The totals for other provinces are: Quebec ($28.6 million), British Columbia ($19.1 million), Alberta ($10.1 million), Nova Scotia ($7.2 million), Manitoba ($6.3 million), New Brunswick ($1.9 million), Newfoundland ($1.4 million) and Saskatchewan ($1 million).
