Cambridge firm receives $4M from Clean Energy Fund

Ecologix Heating Technologies Inc has received $4 million from the $1-billion federal Clean Energy Fund to develop and demonstrate a cold climate heat pump system. Developed in conjunction with the Univ of Waterloo and Emerson Climate Technologies, the system adapts compressor technology used in commercial refrigeration systems for cold climate heating and cooling. Cambridge ON-based Ecologix will also use the funding as a financial incentive for home builders and early adopters....
